THE #MYCITIEFFECT
SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

To showcase the MyCiTi Bus, we hosted Cape Town's first-ever Instaride. Along with the city's 20 most influential Instagrammers, we showed the MyCiTi Bus system like never before. On the day, the public could follow the journey via the hashtag #MyCiTiEffect. Collating the best images from the day, we created Instagram and Facebook carousel ads to expand reach.

RESULTS 

  • Cumulative reach of 3,088,170 people on Facebook and Instagram

  • Engagement rate 14.20% on Facebook and 20.35% on Instagram

  • Overall reach of  Instagrammer's content on own platforms 1,116,580 people.

 

 

MY ROLE

I conceptualised this campaign from the initial client brief to the final product. I attended the shoot days, helped to select final images, and, wrote copy for the ads.
